Why not startand spend a day in Prague a bit differently? After visiting the Prague Old Town and seeing all those breathtaking tourist attractions in Prague, spend one day starting it off the beaten path.
The first thing needed for having a successful and adventurous day is, of course, a healthy meal! Beas Vegetarian Dhaba is a great place for that! It has three locations in Prague centre– one on Belehradska St., one on Vladislavova St. and one at Tynska 19, situated in a lovely quiet courtyard just a few minutes from the Old Town Prague Square. Their recipes are based on North Indian cuisine, without using eggs, meat or fish nor products that contain any traces of them. This simple and bright cafeteria-style restaurant with comfortable wooden tables and chairs is a perfect spot to have a tasty, healthy, exotic and inexpensive meal.

After this, we’re continuing ourRomeEye Prague tour to High Castle- Vyšehrad. You can walk up there from the river bank, or take the metro (red line C), which goes straight to Vyšehrad station and walk from there. Vyšehrad is very popular among locals who often come here to relax and enjoy the breathtaking view from the top. There is a magnificent church and the Slavin cemetery where the most Czech heroes from the past two centuries are buried. But most importantly, there is the lush, spacious park with countless paths. This place is not beautiful only during spring and summer. It is truly picturesque in autumn, with the greatest fusion of colours that only nature can make, and during winter, when the city is covered with snow, this is a peaceful place, perfect for a silent, romantic walk.

Evening is a great time to visit the Žižkov Tower which offers a magical view over Prague from a completely different point. It’s the highest building in the city with a unique 360˚ prospect with thematic cabins, restaurant, café, bar and six star suit. It is openfrom 8 am until midnight. The restaurant offers modern regional and international cuisine which can be perfectly matched with a great selection of wines or some of the best Czech beers. The café sells fresh snacks, salads, tasty desserts and delicious coffee. The Bar has an amazing design and is the perfect place for a romantic rendezvous, or a friends’ meeting over luxurious drinks and Asian cuisine. One of the cabins of the Tower Park Praha is a six-star one-room hotel with unique design and the most modern technologies. Staying at this marvellous place that is overlooking Prague from a height of 66 metres is a truly unbelievable experience.
The Observatory is located 93 metres above the ground. It consists of 3 different cabins (Prague images, Prague echoes and Golden Prague) offering a 360˚ view of the Prague city.
Visiting all these places and seeing Prague from a different perspective, means having a fulfilled day and myriad of beautiful impressions.
